Well, some of it is labeled… it’s not all a mystery :) My Step-Mom-in-Law sent this random fun assortment of yarn home with Nick for me. She’s a knitter and loves that I’m also a yarn craft enthusiast and I’m super excited to try out these interesting yarns. Thanks, Katie!

…and happy belated birthday to me :)


I want to make these Tunisian entrelac socks and the only place I could find online that sold both Noro sock yarn (which I really wanted to use for them) and the C and D size Susan Bates hooks that I needed to make them with was Jimmy Beans Wool. I ordered from them on Wednesday and my package arrived today (Saturday)… a perfect time for me to try out the pattern :)

I’m almost finished writing out the pattern for this cute market bag which I’ve worked out for worsted weight wool/cotton with a J hook or fine weight Jelly Yarn with an L hook. I’d like to have it tested before selling it so if anyone would like to volunteer, I’ll send you the pattern for free! Either way, I’d like to know what you think. Here’s a quick preview:
